Programming Tutorial

A Andengine is an open source, no cost game engine rigorously aimed at the Android mobile phone platform. It offers Science such as gravity as well as collision checks to the developer. It's depending on OpenGL and offers a lot of functions which make the life of a game developer a lot easier. The main advantages of this game engine usually are that you don't need to fuss with OpenGL directly any time programming games for Android. You get some easy to use and elaborate classes, so you can produce fast and useful games in no time! In addition this game engine will be developed on today, so it's not like a casino game engine which is lifeless and has a low users list. It's very wide spread high are a lot of apps around on the Android Industry (obviously games) of programming using the AndEngine. Having said that, there is one disadvantage in this game engine, that can probably scare apart a lot of users; the documentation. The game website might be coded good and you can view the origin code, but there is zero or low paperwork. There are examples these days for basically anything your game developer heart desires, also there is really a community that will be pleased to help you out, but there is simply no Javadoc for example, which is a improperly wound for the AndEngine. Yet, it's open source and free, so you won't be able to expect more, it is quite great!
My own suffers from with the Andengine
To be honest I've not had that much experience with the AndEngine. I have just been playing around for a while with the examples on the market and I will soon post some game course in the near future on this blog page, so you can get a feeling for that AndEngine. However, it seems that stuff which should be a piece of cake to do, such as filling a picture into the memory space, is not that easy while using AndEngine. Let me put it within another way, it is easy as well as user friendly, but it's not to intuitive, you will need to receive a feeling for the AndEngine to begin with, if you have been programming for some other Game development systems or engines, it's it's own distinctive approach. However, your code is very legible and well maintainable.
